A little background about who Presto Hail Lifters is…
Presto Hail Lifters is an automotive body repair business specializing in paintless dent repair. We also offer conventional paint & body repair and windshield replacements as our other services.
Presto was the first paintless dent repair shop to open in Lubbock, Texas in 1991. Presto is currently celebrating it’s 30th anniversary of being in business! We are a family owned and operated business native to west Texas.
In the early days of paintless dent repair it was very difficult to convince customers of the validity of paintless dent repair as a manner of repairing hail damage on a vehicle. More often than not a demonstration of the repair process was necessary to show potential customers that paintless dent repair does work!
Customers often thought that we used dry ice and heat to manipulate the metal back to it’s original flat form. We demonstrated to them that what we used are specialized tools to “work” the metal from underneath a panel in order to smooth it back out.

What forms of payment does Presto accept?
Presto accepts personal checks, cash, credit/debit cards, and insurance checks. -
Will my insurance premiums go up if I file a hail damage claim? No, your insurance premium will not increase due to a hail damage insurance claim. Unlike a collision claim, which is filed under your collision coverage, a hail damage claim is filed under the comprehensive coverage of your insurance coverage which is the part of your policy that covers acts of nature and does not hold a policyholder at fault.

I’ve never filed an insurance claim, how is it done? There are a few different ways to file an insurance claim. 1) Call your insurance companies customer service line, or 2) file the claim on your insurance companies phone app, or, best of all, 3) come into our office and let our friendly and knowledgeable staff help you with filing the claim.

I’ve never had paintless dent repair performed on my vehicle, what can I expect? Paintless dent repair is a method of removing hail damage and other dents from a vehicle without the need of using conventional bodywork. This keeps the value of the vehicle intact due to the factory paint being unblemished and undisturbed and the original factory panels remaining intact.

How long does it normally take to repair a hail damaged vehicle? A few factors come into play when quoting an expected repair time for a vehicle. The severity of the damage(amount of dents), the size of the dents, the size of the vehicle and other factors are taken into account when quoting a repair time. Even then, sometimes an adjustment in the expected repair time might need to happen.
